Olivia Swindler was raised in Spokane, Washington, and lived and worked in France for over five years. The author of Cynthia Starts a Band and Break the Glass, she believes that through fiction we can grow and learn from one another, and hopes to create and foster hard, real-life conversations with her novels. Olivia is also a graphic designer and a reader of many, many books. She currently resides in Virginia with her dog, Luna.
